How does clinic.ca send me patients?

Patients who need a specialist but don't have a family doctor visit clinic.ca, browse the specialist directory, and request a referral. An Ontario NP reviews their intake and issues a referral letter, which is faxed directly to your office. The patient then calls you to book. You receive a referred patient ready to schedule — no extra work on your end.

Does it cost me anything?

No — your listing is completely free. Patients pay clinic.ca for the referral service. You never pay per referral, no commission, and no hidden costs.

Do you accept NP referrals?

Most Ontario specialists accept referrals from Nurse Practitioners in the Extended Class. If your office requires physician-only referrals, we'll note that on your listing and direct patients accordingly.

Are there premium listing options?

Yes — after your listing is approved, we'll reach out about optional premium features including priority placement and an "Accepting new patients" badge. The standard listing is always free.

How long does the review take?

We review all listings within 2 business days. For premium listings, you'll receive a Stripe payment link after approval. Your listing goes live once payment is confirmed.
