FAQ
Is OHIP covered?
Performance markers like IGF-1, CK, and testosterone are covered when clinically indicated. Wellness or performance optimization panels are generally self-pay.
When should I draw blood?
For most accurate results, avoid intense exercise 48 hours before your draw. Testosterone is best measured in the morning (8–10am).
What does elevated CK mean?
Elevated CK is common after heavy training and indicates muscle breakdown. Chronically high CK with fatigue may signal overtraining syndrome.
What if my testosterone is low?
Your NP will review the full hormonal picture and may recommend a follow-up panel, lifestyle interventions, or referral for TRT evaluation.
