FAQ

The
Is OHIP covered?
The $49 clinic.ca quarterly fee covers MD consults, lab reqs, and dose management. TRT medications (testosterone cypionate, enanthate) are OHIP-covered when medically indicated.
How is TRT administered?
Your MD will prescribe the most appropriate form — typically self-administered injections (IM or SubQ), topical gels, or patches. Injections offer the most stable hormone levels.
What labs are monitored on TRT?
Testosterone (total and free), estradiol, hematocrit, PSA, lipids, and liver enzymes are monitored quarterly. Your MD adjusts dosing based on your results and symptoms.
What if my hematocrit gets too high?
Elevated hematocrit (polycythemia) is a known TRT side effect. Your MD may reduce dose, recommend therapeutic phlebotomy, or advise blood donation.
